Making bespoke wedding cakes and favours, we pride ourselves on going the extra mile for all our customers from start to finish. Established in April 2015 by Emily, who heads up all the design and creative aspects of the business, The Flamingo Bakery enables couples to have their dreams and vision brought to life. We also offer a full delivery and set up service throughout Yorkshire including Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon, Thirsk, Northallerton, York, Leeds and beyond, giving you one less thing to worry about.

Not just through the carefully selected range of blended flavours and recipes with locally sourced ingredients, but also through the crafting of a bespoke creation designed specifically for you. Through close collaboration with our customers, we create luxury wedding cakes and favours that fit the colours and theme of your special day. Ensuring our cakes tie all aspects of the day together is a large part of our duty, from personalised favours on the tables to flowers on the cake, we believe a cake can be the key ingredient to any occasion.

From fondant to buttercream and even semi naked, we offer cakes of all styles and sizes. Even if you don’t know what type of cake you’re looking for we have a full range of inspiration on our both gallery page and our social media pages. Although all of our products are bespoke and therefore priced individually, we have created a price guide to give you an idea of size and costs which can be found via the link below. If you already have an idea in mind for your cake, please feel free to email us with some details and we would be happy to provide a free, no obligation quote.

“MORE THAN JUST CAKE…”

As well as bespoke cakes, we also provide a wide range of personalised favours. These include biscuits, cupcakes, cakesicles, cake pops and brownies, all of which are available in a range of expertly crafted flavours. Our favours make the perfect addition to your cake and can be designed to include any details you wish. Each style of favour include personalisation options from ‘Thank you’ tags to individual guests names making them work as both favours and place names for your tables.

“Placing your order…”

We recommend that you enquire about your cake as early as possible, placing your order at least 6-9 months in advance, wherever possible but it is always worth checking your date with us just incase. All orders require a non-refundable 30% deposit to secure the date in our diary. The remaining balance is due 14 days before delivery. We also offer Taster Kits for those wanting to try our cake flavours before the big day. These are posted out to you so you can sample them at your leisure. More details of which can be found on our 'Taster Kits' page. Please note we currently do not offer vegan, dairy-free or eggless cakes.

Your cake can be decorated with a wide range of options however the most popular choice is flowers. These can be handmade from sugar or fresh flowers provided by us or your chosen florist. The best type of flowers for your cake may depend on a variety of things, so please contact us to discuss your options further.

We also offer a full delivery and set up service for all our products, which is charged at a set price per mile. The outstanding balance for any order is due 14 days before delivery.
